As you exit the station, reverse your direction and walk east along Mass. Ave. in front of the Cambridge Savings Bank. Cross Dunster St. and proceed along Mass. Ave for three more blocks. You will pass Au Bon Pain, JP Licks, and the Adidas Store. Harvard Book Store is located at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Plympton St.

Walking from the Harvard Square T station: 10 minutes

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and look for the newsstand Crimson Corner on the right side of the street and Curious George book shop on the left side of the street. Keeping the newsstand to your right, proceed along Brattle St. (you will pass the restaurant Tory Row). Follow Brattle St. as it curves to the right in Brattle Square (follow the sidewalk on the right side of the street). Walk three blocks and turn right on Appian Way. Longfellow Hall is the red brick building on the left. Askwith Hall is located inside Longfellow, on the first floor.

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and look for the newsstand Crimson Corner on the right side of the street and Curious George book shop on the left side of the street. Keeping the newsstand to your right, proceed along Brattle St. (you will pass the restaurant Tory Row). Follow Brattle St. as it curves to the right in Brattle Square (cross at the crosswalk near the MBTA bus entrance, crossing toward Citi Bank, and follow Brattle St. to your right). The Brattle Theatre will be on the left side of the street, in the same building as Cafe Algiers and Casablanca.

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and look for the newsstand called Crimson Corner. Turn right and proceed north along Mass. Ave. going toward the Cambridge Common. You will pass the Harvard Coop, Bank of America, and CVS. Turn left onto Garden St. The church is at the corner of Garden St. and Mason St.

Follow directions to Harvard Book Store. At the corner of Mass. Ave. and Plympton St., turn right onto Plympton and walk down the hill. Cross Bow St. and Mount Auburn Street. Harvard Hillel is at the intersection of Mount Auburn St. and Plympton St., on your right. To get to the entrance, walk up Mount Auburn (towards the center of Harvard Square) for twenty yards. Author readings most often occur in Beren and Smith Halls on the second floor.

Take a left on Quincy St. and walk two blocks. Memorial Hall will be the large red brick building on your left side. Sanders Theatre is the main auditorium in Memorial Hall.
