Returning Items Purchased Online

Harvard Book Store accepts returns of books and clothing within thirty days of purchase. The items must be in saleable condition and accompanied with the store receipt or the email order confirmation. Returns are refunded in kind; i.e. credit cards are credited or refund checks are mailed after your check clears. Shipping costs are refunded only if the return is a result of an error on our part.

For your protection, we recommend that you return the package via UPS, FedEx, or insured parcel post.

Returning Items Purchased In the Store

Only items in salable condition can be accepted, and returns must be accompanied by the original receipt. If you return an item within thirty days, you will be refunded in full, using the method of payment shown on the original receipt. Returns made between thirty and sixty days can be exchanged for store credit only. No returns can be accepted after sixty days.
